Received this upper in an 18 inch barrel. Mated it up to a PA-10 lower and the fit is perfect. Took it to the range today and had two casings in a row jamb in the barrel. Tried better ammo and functioned perfectly. After firing 20 rounds of federal 168 grain had it sighted in and was in at 1 moa. went back to mag with military grade ammo and ran through 20 rounds no problem. Next mag same ammo as first and the case stuck again and extractor tore lip off case. Looked at the case and it was stamped CBC. In the end the upper was awesome when using 4 different ammo other than CBC. I am very happy and have suggested CBC for uppers to several people including two at range today. By the way, Chris said I would be happy with Barrel and he was right.

My last review of this after first range use was just that. I must have had some bad ammo because everything else now that it is well broke in ( around a thousand rounds) works flawlessly. When you get the upper it is totally dry. Oil everything for break in. I love to shoot this gun. With a scope and a sand bag it is at or less than 1 MOA with decent ammo. It is 1 to 2 moa with surplus. Easily scoring 3 inch bulls at 200. I agree with another review that the forward assist is a joke. Never needed it but the BCG has no ribs to push forward and the assist is part of the brass deflector. Overall a really good 308 upper at a great price. Thanks CBC will be ordering a 300 Black out soon.

It took over 6 weeks to get but the price and the quality made up for it in the end. Had issues getting the 16″ barrel and was upgraded to an 18″ and at first I was not sure since I wanted compact. Seemed to group decent at the indoor range at 25 yards but once it got above 24 degrees and went to a 100 yard range to my surprise with a 6X scope I was getting under an inch group with 150gr Hornady FMJ that I loaded for a FAL. I am sure with custom loading and a higher power scope I could get 1/2 MOA. The packaging was the best of any company by far. I kept the box in case I needed to store the upper. The bolt is perfect and is above any of my ARs. Not sure if they manufacture it or outsource but is flawless with no machine marks and smooth like it was polished.

Received my 308 and 7.62×39 uppers recently. found the fit and finish to be very good. I will use more uppers for future builds. Looking forward to taking these to the range.
