Our Keymod handguard offers more than just the accuracy enhancements that come with a free-floating rail. It features a full length picatinny top rail that sits flush with M4 flat top receivers allowing you to have more space for optics and back up iron sights. Designed with size and weight savings in mind, it features?featuring picatinny inserts at 3:00, 6:00 & 9:00 positions. The slim profile is comfortable to grip while still allowing enough room for low profile gas blacks underneath. This AR-15 handguard is machined from 6061 aluminum, has a hard coat anodized black finish, resulting in a?durable and dependable mounting platform, providing you with strength and stability.
This lightweight handguard features a slim profile with Keymod attachment points along the full 15? in length. It is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and has a type III hardcoat anodized finish for excellent corrosion resistance. This AR-15 free float handguard is compatible with all Mil-Spec upper receivers and most low-profile gas blocks, so you have the freedom to build your rifle the way that you want. It is easy to install with the included barrel nut and mounting hardware.

I bought this 15″ rail to replace the original plastic hand guard on my 20″ barrel AR15. I like the short rail sections on the sides at the front of the Keymod. The barrel nut and mounting screws provide a solid base for the 15″ rail.
This is a great upgrade to keep my first AR15 relevant. It is the best quality rail I have seen in this price range anywhere.
ALSO, Chris and the folks at CBC are great to work with. I met them at a gun show and discovered they are located very close to where I work in North Charleston, SC.
