Chambered in 5.56 NATO for full compatibility with surplus MIL-SPEC ammunition or commercial .223 Remington. Constructed of 4150 chrome moly steel and finished in nitride for excellent surface protection. The 1:8 twist rate is great for stabilizing most bullet weights from 55 grains up to 77 grains and the rifle-length gas system is optimal for reliability and reduced recoil.
